Here at Weightmedics, we want you to be the happiest and healthiest version of yourself. Mental health and physical health go hand-in-hand so it is important to make sure that you have a healthy diet, regular exercise and take enough time to relax and refresh.

Get enough sleep – 7/8 hours a night is recommended for optimal healing and repair of your body and mind.

Increase your level of physical activity – this releases endorphins which will make you feel happy and less stressed.

Get an adequate amount of nutrients in your diet – consume less processed food and increase your intake of fresh foods.

Limit your alcohol intake – alcohol is a stimulant and can cause negative changes in emotions and behaviour.

Take time out of your day to relax – a good time to do this is in the evening just before you go to sleep. When you get into bed, put your phone to one side and just take some time to relax and reflect on your emotions.

Surround yourself with supportive people – spending time with friends, family or a partner who will bring a positive impact and encouragement to your life is essential for good mental health.
