Terms & Conditions
By using Weight Medics, services and website, users acknowledge the Terms and Conditions they must abide by when using our services:
The clinicians we engage are registered in the United Kingdom with the General Pharmaceutical Council , Nursing Midwifery Council and General Medical Council and each hold accredited prescriber qualifications. The clinicians are trained in providing remote consultations and issuing prescription medicine online.
Accessing our site. Our Site is directed to people residing in the UK. We do not represent that content available on or through our Site is appropriate for use or available in other locations. You must be at least 18 years old to use our Site and purchase any products or medications available via the Site.
Jurisdiction and applicable law. If you are a consumer, please note that these terms of use, their subject matter and their formation, are governed by English law. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction except that if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
Payments. A £25 deposit will be taken for all new patient consultation bookings. This is redeemable against treatment. Failure to attend a new patient consultation without giving 24 hours prior notice, will result in the £25 deposit becoming non-refundable. All programme fees must be settled by electronic payment link be settled by electronic payment link prior to deliveries being processed.
Refunds. Due to legislative and regulatory requirements for the safe handling of prescriptive medication, no prescription medication can be returned. Fees paid for the programme are not refundable even if the medication is unsuitable and not tolerated. You may be offered alternative medication as part of my subsequent package.
Any refund request for medication not yet dispensed will be calculated at the full list price minus full list price for any services received.
Suitability. Weight Medics is not suitable for women who are pregnant due to the different nutritional requirements to support growth and development during pregnancy. Women who are breastfeeding are eligible to partake in some parts of the programme. However, as this remains an important time for growth and development of a child, it is essential that all nutritional requirements are met. Therefore, if you are breastfeeding, you will need to inform your clinician to ensure they are able to support you in the best way possible.
For Weight Medics to provide the safest care, with your prior written consent we will inform your GP if you are prescribed appetite suppressants. With your written consent we will also review your Summary Care Record held by your GP to ensure its safe to treat you.
Privacy. We care about your personal data a great deal and are absolutely committed to protecting your privacy and respecting your data. Our Privacy Policy here explains when and why we collect personal information from you.
